Lalaloopsy Birthday Party

Well, it's summer, and it's already flying by like a whirlwind.
I feel like our whole life is like that actually, and summer is definitely no exception.
I'm behind on posting all kinds of fun activities, but will try to at least share some birthday party pictures.
K-Rae decided on a Lalaloopsy themed party.
If you don't have any idea what that is, let me educate you on Lalaloopsy a little bit.
 The official Lalaloopsy website says:
"Lalaloopsy are rag dolls that magically come to life from the fabric used to make them.
They live in a colorful silly world! Sew Magical! Sew Cute!"
There are over 50 of these little themed dolls.  K-Rae dressed up like "Pix E. Flutters."
 The girls did some fun crafts with flowers and buttons;

it just wouldn't be a Lalaloopsy party without buttons!
Lil' Miss Mae dressed up as her own invented Lalaloopsy, which she named:
"Feed B. Feeder," (pronounced "Phoebe Feeder").
Not only did she dress-up as Feed B. Feeder, but she had me help her create an actual Feed B. Feeder rag doll.  This turned into an all day project last week.
Lil' Miss Mae came up with the name "Feed B. Feeder" because
the doll was created from a dress made out of a feed sack that my Great-Grandma,
(so her Great-Great-Grandma) used to wear,
and probably had hand sewn herself back in the Depression Era.
Anyhow, we created,
 and sewed, and stuffed

and laughed a lot...
Lil' Miss Mae stayed right by me for every stitch!  She enjoyed her one-on-one Mama time, and I enjoyed my Chloe time, which doesn't happen often!
We were able to pull off this project because K-Rae was at "Camp W" with her aunt and uncle in Denver, and Bubba got locked behind the baby gate and entertained by Dadda!
Lil' Miss Mae was quite pleased with the finished product!
And K-Rae liked her new Pix E. Flutters twin too.....
There was a bit of pouting at the party; I'm not actually sure why,
but she made a cute little Lalaloopsy even when she was pouting!
 The weather cooperated!!! Hooray!!!
 This little Lalaloopsy turned 6!
And she enjoyed eating her cupcake more like an ogre!
 (Her father's daughter!)
 Sweet hugs!
 New cuddly backpack....
New journal...with a lock and key!
Real Cinderella slippers!
and "Connectagons" which will probably provide hours of fun!
And the new Lalaloopsy bedroom set and fun wall stickers were a birthday gift from Creamie, Grandpa, and GG.

  2. Wow, I am just so stunned to see the Lalaloopsy Birthday Party. It is outstanding. We have also been making plans for a funky party on our anniversary. But currently have been looking for some affordable event venues Chicago. If you have recommendations, please share here.
