Happy Mother's Day

I am blessed......by 3 adorable little munchkins....
Flashback to Mother's Day a year ago.....what happened to that little baby doll?
Not so little anymore!!!
This year, I was spoiled by breakfast in bed, lots of neat artwork and cards, a pot of soil that will eventually bloom into flowers, and some interesting gifts the girls purchased for me from "Mama's Store" with their reward tokens.....too sweet that they spent their hard earned tokens that I've given them back on me, and they gave me some fun garage sale finds they managed to sneakily buy and hide.  The girls also planted fresh flowers and herbs for me in our pots out front.  RyDaddy somehow managed to help them pull all of that off, plus we made it to a special Mother's Day service at church.

And Bubba came up with his very own special gift for me.....

Yes, I'm a proud Mama.
And although I ended up getting laryngitis the week before Mother's Day,
and had to end up missing out on a trip with my dad, my cousin's graduation
and an especially long awaited "Mom's Night Away,"
I was blessed by spending Mother's Day with my Mother.....
She spoils me and takes over a lot of my jobs when she's visiting,
so it's like a little vacation for me,
and she lets me sleep in and take naps...
Somehow, life seems a little less hard when she's here!
And the kids sure love her too!

and a gift from the Lord."

Talent Show

From singing, to playing chopsticks on the piano, to solving a Rubix Cube, to touching her nose with her tongue....many interesting talents were shared at Kids' Church by the boys and girls a couple of Sundays ago!  Lil' Miss Mae decided to "do gymnastics" for her talent.  With some creative help from her therapists and sissy, she was able to share a little routine with some of the things she has been working on at therapy....most excitedly, walking unassisted!!!
K-Rae entertained with her violin talent.

In the "parable of the talents," we get an idea of what God expects us to do here on earth. We're all given talents, some great and some small--but whether your talent is epic or miniscule, we glorify God when we use it to further his kingdom. (www.gospel.com)
